Guests at Snowwater typically arrive
by one of three options:
1.
Fly to Castlegar Airport , BC (YCG). There is a shuttle
service to Nelson that goes to any hotel in the city.
2. Fly to Skokane, WA (GEG). We can arrange a shuttle
or you can rent a car.
3. Drive to Nelson. You can keep your vehicle free of
charge at our meeting spot at the junction of HWY 3A and 6.

NEW MEETING SPOT AS OF 2007!!
All guests now meet at our new base station at 4:00 pm at the junction of Highway 3A and 6 across from the Kootenay Savings Credit Union, about 20 minutes south of Nelson. All guests are responsible for getting to this location which is located just 5 minutes from the base of our road. It is very well marked with big signs that say Valhalla Powdercats and Snowwater. You will
be returned to this location on your last day of heli-skiing
by our shuttle service by around 5:00pm. There is lots of parking available free of charge for your vehicle.
DAY
HELI ONLY
Please be at the base station at 7:30 the morning of your ski trip with us. You will be shuttled to and from the lodge from there.
MULTI
DAY TRIPS
We meet at 4:00PM ssharp at the base station of Valhalla Powdercats adn Snowwater Heli Skiing.
Anyone arriving
later than 4:30 will be billed a late pickup charge
of $100 per person.
There will be no pickups past 6:00pm.
Anyone arriving after 6:00PM will be required to arrange
your own lodging for the night. Snowwater does not reimburse
guests any of the expenses incurred due to late arrivals,
or for time lost.
If you arrive past 6:00PM Snowwater will arrange a morning
pick up time.
LATE CHARGES
A morning pick up requires a vehicle transfer to our
snowcat.
If your entire group has booked the whole cat, then
the cat will come to get you in the morning. If only
part of a cat load needs to be picked up you will be
picked up by snowmobile. $150/person late fee applies.
NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.
